Chile- Reisetagebuch #4: Valaparíso- Stadt der Farben

Hola :)
Heute möchte ich euch gerne eine Stadt in Chile vorstellen: Valparaíso (oder auch Valpo, wie man hier sagt).

I'd like to show you another city of Chile today: Valparaíso (or like most People say, Valpo)

Die Stadt liegt in der Nähe von Vina und wird auch die Stadt der Farben genannt. Warum? Seht selbst :)

The city is near Vina and is also called the city of colours. Why? Just have a look :)

 



Valparaíso ist sehr bekannt für die viel Graffitis, die in der ganzen Stadt an den Hauswänden und Mauern zu finden sind. Ich finde das total cool :D

Valparaíso is well-knowen for all the grafitties on the house walls, all the other walls ;)...

Auch die Treppen bleiben da nicht verschont...

Zusammen mit ein paar Freunden war ich in einem Café in Valpo, das Cafe  con letras. Dieses kann ich euch nur empfehlen, denn zum einen ist es dort total gemütlich, mit den vielen Bücherregalen, und zum anderen ist das Essen dort echt toll. Natürlich sind zum Beispiel die Churros ein wenig teurer als am Strand, dafür schmecken sie aber auch echt gut (die gelbe Soße in dem Schälchen ist übrigens Manjar, das wird hier sehr viel gegessen, besteht aus Milch und schmeckt nach Karamell).

 

Together with some friends I went to the Cafe con letras in Valpo and I can really recommend that. It's so cute and I love the atmosphere caused by the bookshelves and the food is really delicious as well. Of course e.g. the Churros are a lot more expensive than at the beach but they also taste better (if you wondered what the yellow sauce next to the Churros is, it's called Manjar, consists of milk and tastes like caramell).

 

...hmmmm. Das sieht doch wirklich gut aus, oder?
